Has anyone done the DNA test on ancestry.com? I think that might be interesting to see what the results are. Or does anyone have a page on ancestry?

Enjoyed reading the comments etc. about all the lineage.
I only got into this due to doing some reading on Somerled the King of Argyll and it seemed to appear that a lot of McAllister alternative spellings included are descended possibly from this man..

How very interesting and exciting.

Hi!
My name is Kathy Whitehouse and am new in my geneological quest. I am researching my ancestral grandmother, Eliza McAlister-Whitehouse. Born on July 18, 1825,in Rochester, windsor County, Vermont. She married Charles Whitehouse, had 6 children, and died on January 11, 1896 and is buried in Sweden, Oxford County, Maine. That is all the info I have. Nice to stop by and say hello!
