The first history that I have is Somerlad McAlaster from 1020-1083, two sons, Gille ans.Gillebridge who married Ragehildof of Dublin. their son Somerled was killed in battle with King Malcolm IV of Scotland. I do have more, just looking to fill in some blanks.
my grandfather was William Henry McAllister, who's line as far as I have is linked to Angus MaAlaster from Londonderry, Ireland. I also have links to John McAlaster who married Janey(?) in New Hampshire in 1775. from my grandmother(who married William Henry McAllister, her name was Ruby Elnora Crooks, McAllister) she was a descendant of John Gordon and Thomas Crooks.
so if this is your line, I may have information that you need or maybe you have something I don't
Thanks Heather

Just beginning a search of McAlister's and/or McAllister's that were or may be in Pennsylvania. Supposedly, my grandfather, Carl McAllister, dropped an "L" from his children's birth certificates so it may have originally been spelled McAllister.

He had four children, John Henry, Charles James,
Vera and Edward.

My great grandfather was named John McAlister and was a blacksmith.

I am hoping to reconnect with remaining relatives.

Thank you

Hi A superbly Written account of Wallace. I recall when younger on my bicycle finding by chance the place he was captured at, just outside Glasgow. A plague stated so. quite near the antonine wall built by the roman invaders of my land. well I should not say my land as it is slowly being taken over by a strange merchant class of people as foretold by the brannan seer in the long ago. My maternal uncle had the birthmark above his knee as Rob roy`s cousin as he was from macregor clan stock = same birthmark.I was in the Wallace Clan trust for 2 years to escape the english dole conditions . They were in the film Braveheart. Mel Gibson stayed with Seurus for a while.thank`s

Hello,
Just completed DNA Testing and have linked my McAllister DNA to A46 and AJ04.
My most distant relative is Godfrey McAllister / McAlister born Argyleshire, Scotland in 1791. He married Jennet Wilson and all their children were born on Islay. If someone from these lines would be able to contact me and perhaps we can figure out a connection!
Thank you in advance!
